The D-seal process is designed to be as efficient as possible, making it easy to complete and gain value—regardless of your type of business. It consists of four streamlined steps that take into account your time and resources, guiding you from the initial assessment to obtaining the D-seal.
Start with the self-assessment
The free self-assessment of your existing data usage and IT security is the first step towards obtaining the D-seal. Here, your responses are measured against the D-seal standards for your type of business, providing you with a report containing specific guidelines to help you move forward in the process towards becoming D-sealed.
Submit your application
Once you have answered the questions in the self-assessment, you are ready to submit your application for the D-seal. At this stage, you will need to provide documentation showing how your company meets the relevant requirements and criteria. This is the step where we charge a fee; until then, the process is free.
Supervision and control
After submitting your application, one of our experts will begin the supervision and control process. During this stage, your company may be asked additional questions regarding your documentation to verify how you comply with the specific criteria.
Obtaining the D-seal
Once your application and documentation have been reviewed and approved, your company will receive the well-deserved D-seal – a symbol that builds trust and demonstrates your commitment to security to customers, colleagues, and society.
